Dear Coaches:  

Thank you in advance for supporting our effort to provide comprehensive coverage of high school sports in Summit and Medina counties.   The success of our site will depend largely on your willingness to share information with us on a regular basis.

You may have delegated this reporting responsibility to an assistant coach or a teacher at the school, or a parent. All we ask is that someone from your team communicate with us and for that person to be as accurate as possible.

Essentially, there are two types of Reports. We have a program that will allow you to update us quickly and easily.  If you have any questions or problems using this site, please contact our team at editor@sportsink.com or call 330-239-0123.

GAME/MATCH REPORT

Think of SportsInk.com like you would a daily newspaper. We want your information and we promise to use it!

Whenever your team is playing at home, we’d like for you to report after every game or match.

If you are playing at a high school in Summit and Medina Counties, then you should expect the host school to report.

However, if you are playing at a school outside our two-county footprint, then please plan to report.

Cross Country Coaches: We are asking to you to report after each meet, home or away. You will not, however, be asked to complete a Sunday/Statistics report.

There are four ways you can report to us (in order of preference):

1.   Post your scores directly on www.SportsInk.com via the Coaches page.   Access a 1-page Game/Match Report sheet, which can be completed in minutes by tabbing through and punching in the data.

2.    E-mail us the pertinent details by sending a note to editor@sportsink.com.  Please differentiate between boys and girls sports. Clarify date, site, and score of the game or match. We’re looking for as much detail as you are willing to provide.

3.    If you’d prefer to write the game facts in longhand and FAX them to us, that will work. We have a dedicated FAX line at 330-239-0495.

4.    Call us at (330) 239-0123 and, if necessary, leave a Voicemail.

Instructions for online reporting:   

1.    Input the User ID and Password we provided you in the Account Login box in the upper right corner of this page.

2.    Once you’ve been admitted, you will be able to access the Game/Match Report for a specific game on your schedule or the Sunday Statistics Report from this page.

3.    Please tab through and punch in the information requested.

4.    Please hit “submit” or “send” when finished and we’ll take it from there.

SUNDAY STATISTICS REPORT

Sunday is a day to rest and hopefully supply us with your cumulative statistics. We hope to produce Statistical Leaders (Team and Individual) for all sports and this will require your help. This task is easily accomplished online, but you also can email us (an attachment or pdf) with your statistics to editor@sportsink.com, or FAX your report to 330-239-0495.

We also use this report to compile accurate conference standings, so please include your updated overall and conference records each time.  WE WILL BEGIN ACCEPTING SUNDAY STATISTICS REPORTS on September 20.
